As a self-employed driver, Starlite Taxis will offer you a higher percentage of commision than any other in Swale and in most of Kent (50%). We do this to retain great drivers with a view to high quality customer service and a positive attitude to serving customer needs.
You will need to hold a current Swale Borough Council Hackney Carriage drivers license and a current DBS enhanced disclosure. As a full-time driver you will be flexible and available to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week which may include some daytime, evenings and weekends.

Drivers that wish to drive a school run only have a rare opportunity to apply now. Pay is per run on a self employed basis and dependent on the run which may vary according to need.
With the same benefits and requirements as full-time drivers, Starlite are looking for 2 drivers to cover upto four 6-hour shifts to increase capacity at our busiest times. You will be flexible and able to work some daytimes, evenings and weekends.
KCC approved chaperones are required for our increasing porfolio of contract school runs and assistance with vulnerable adults.
A friendly manner and sound understanding of a range of SEN (Special Educational Needs) including Autism and Aspergers Syndrome would be advantagious. Would suit a parent looking to supliment family income whilst maintaining free time for family commitments.
Pay is per-run and dependent upon the distance but typically £6-£10. Hours expected are two runs per day, 5 days per week during school term time. Please do not apply if you are not available for the entire school terms.

The telephonist / despatcher role is challenging and varied and offers an excellent opportunity to learn the most advanced booking and despatch computer system and the communication skills demanded in this customer focused environment. The role demands logical thinking and swift problem solving skills.
We pay at least NMW or more dependent on skills and experience. Shifts are 6 hours (0700-1300, 1300-1900, 1900-0100) with flexibility expected between morning, afternoon or evening shifts.
